We proclaim the risen Lord through meaningful worship
Music is a vital part of worship at Mount Cross and spans all ages with a wide variety of musical experiences. Both our traditional Lutheran worship led by choir and organ, and our praise worship service, provide opportunities for vocalists, musicians and multimedia technicians to use their God-given talents by lifting up and glorifying our Lord, Jesus Christ.
At Mount Cross we welcome and invite your participation in music during worship. One of the foremost ways we worship God is by singing hymns and songs as part of the congregation.
Give of your best to the Master; He gave His all for you!
Help us make a difference! Get personally involved with one or more of our Music Ministry opportunities. See our participation possibilities below, find one that is best-suited to your talents and join today. Contact the church office for information on how to volunteer.

A blending of hymns, spirituals and choruses is used to express our love and thanks to the Lord. Participation is open to all adults. The team leads worship every Sunday, year-round, at the 10:30AM service. They rehearse Wednesday evenings at 6:00PM.
Praise Band (Spiritual Warfare): The Praise Band was formed in January of 2009, the band includes musicians of all ages who have completed at least one year of structured instruction on their instrument. This is truly an inter-generational group with no limitations on age or instrument type. All are welcome! However, you must furnish your own instrument and be able to read music. The Praise Band plays on the last Sunday of every month, year-round, at the 10:30AM service. They rehearse at 6:00PM on the Wednesday evening prior to the last Sunday of the month.
Multimedia Support Team: Multimedia Support is an important and necessary part of our worship at Mount Cross. Advances in technology have brought us into the 'digital age' of audio and visual presentation. A year-round, volunteer support team is maintained in order to bring the best of these to our congregation. We now offer Sound Technician opportunities and will soon be developing the Lighting, Video and Projection media that will be utilized in our new sanctuary. If you are high school age or older and have the desire to help in this ministry, contact the church office for further details.
Computer Support: If you are knowledgeable and have practical skills in the computer field, our present staff will be needing volunteers to assist in Website development, graphic design, data-base administration and coding. The growth in this ministry directly corresponds to the growth of our campus. We need you. Contact the church office for further information on how you can volunteer.
